A hotbed of creative talent bubbles just beneath the surface in Bozeman. Much of the allure in our little community is the discovery of the many pockets of brilliance and truly exceptional people that live and work here. It’s part of our secret sauce.
OFF THE GRID was created out of curiosity, to see what would happen when we brought everyone in the design profession together – regardless of expertise. You see, we ourselves have a strong desire to learn from each other, to leap frog traditional clubs, alter perceptions, push best practices, blur boundaries of play and collaborate change. We aim to astound and amaze people that a professional design group with such a wide perspective can exist and have an impact OFF THE GRID.
OFF THE GRID shares a common mindset with other non-profit organizations throughout the world who bring ultra-disciplinary design professionals together to apply their trade in ways that improve how communities live and work. Following the lead of organizations with a similar vision, INDEX, Design Council, AIGA, DMI and IDA, OFF THE GRID will rely heavily on the local design community to shape and evolve these ideals.
We saw the opportunity and felt the time was right, we hope you agree and join the debut of OFF THE GRID on Thursday September 27. Stick around after Alex Bogusky presents to give us your comments, opinions and feedback during the breakout sessions.
